She didn't look at me the same, those eyes she gave me before when I thought she loved me. Her eyes were now only shown to Arthur.

"Does she not realise how much she's hurting me?" I said aloud to myself, my voice cracking. Desperately trying to be strong.

[y/n] stood less than a few metres away from me flirting with Arthur. I could see, although he was a gentleman, he didn't hide the fact he was enjoying it. Having my girlfriend all over him like that.

Of course, they didn't know I was less than a few metres away. I'd skillfully followed [y/n] here. I know, its not normally a thing a boyfriend would do but I couldn't deny the fact I was really paranoid.

She kept sneaking off with him and whenever they were near, they'd tell me to "go away because we're having a private chat".

Neither of them would look me in the eye anymore and thats what made me come to the conclusion, they were having a secret affair or something behind my back.

Continuing to watch them, I saw [y/n] pull out a gift and thrust it towards Arthur, a faint blush present on her face. I bit my lip, averting my eyes from the scene, placing my hand over my aching heart.

'This is too much for me, I can't stay here!' I thought, attempting to move quickly and quitely away from Arthur and [y/n] but that failed, miserably. As I turned to leave I knocked against a poll that seemed to have been near me and it clanged loudly against the school hallway floor. I made a run for it, catching [y/n]'s eye as I left.

"Alfred!"

I could hear [y/n]'s distant calls but I kept speed walking away from them, I wasn't angry I was heartbroken, my eyes fogging up with unspilt tears.

"Alfred! Wait!" [y/n] shouted speeding up, finally catching me. She caught onto my arm, her grip firm. "Alfie, what's wrong? Why were you...".

She gasped as I turned around, tears flowing freely down my face now.

"W-why are you crying? What's wrong? What happened?" She said bringing her hands up to clasp my face, her thumb brushing my cheek softly.

"I saw you with Arthur and," I paused looking her deep in the eyes, a sorrowfull look upon my face. "[y/n] do you still love me?".

"Why of course I do, Alfie. Tch! I guess I'm gonna have to give a explaination now..." She replied averting her eyes from blushing in both what seemed like anger and embarrassment.

"Happy early anniversary Alfred!". [y/n] then thrust the same box out to me that she did Arthur. My eyes widened, "All along this was for me?".

"Yes, I just needed suggestions so I asked Arthur what I could get you that was different and more thoughtful...I'm sorry I made you feel like this" [y/n] slipped her arms around my waist, snuggling into my chest. A mumble came from [y/n], "Aren't you gonna open it?"

I chuckled as I undone the lid of the box, opening it to find a handmade burger themed photo frame and a picture of when me and [y/n] first started dating in it.

I blush came to my cheeks as I wrapped my arms around her frame as best as I could, "[y/n] this is...I can't believe I even doubted you, I'm sorry babe. I love you".

"Its okay, I love you too" [y/n] said giggling before leaning up and pecking my lips. "But Alfie, don't ever doubt my love for you because I don't want nobody else only you".
